Covid-19 update:  All restrictions have now been lifted.

We have partnered with The Heartland to accept donations for crocheted sunflowers in support of the Ukraine.  All donations go to The Canada-Ukraine Foundation.  If you would like to donate and pick up your sunflower please stop by the Club Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm.

Our September dinner is Monday, September 12th.  Doors open at 5:00pm, dinner is at 6:00pm, and entertainment follows.  Tickets are $25.00 per person and are available now - please see Jackie at the Club to get yours.  Please remember it's cash or cheque only - no credit cards.

There will not be a social in August in order to give our coordinators a break over the summer.

We are currently discussing an option for December's Christmas dinner and dance - to have a separate Christmas luncheon.  We are now nearing 400 members and our maximum capacity for an event is 120.  We have been selling out in a few days, so in order to accommodate more of our members who would like to share a celebration with members of the Club the luncheon would be on Saturday, December 10th, and would have a sing-a-long instead of entertainment and dance.  As we are trying to accommodate more of our members you would only be able to attend either the luncheon or the dinner.  The dinner will be held on Monday, December 5th.  The cost for the luncheon would of course be less than the dinner, which is at $35 per person, and the 50/50 draw and the bar are open for both parties.  Please contact Jackie if you are interested in the Christmas luncheon so that we can work on the arrangements.

Ron's Guitar Sessions will be twice a month beginning every second Tuesday in September.  Watch for further emails with the changes he is making to the class' format.

Check the Upcoming Events page for activities continuing in July and August.

Memory Cafe - Are you passionate about making a difference for others in your community?  Do you have two hours of time per month?  The Memory Cafe is a warm and welcoming gathering opportunity where those impacted by dementia can socialize.  Contact Jackie for details on volunteering etc.
